Fall Empties

 

Finished quite a few products this fall. Would repurchase all of them and some I already have repurchased. Definitely quite a few new favorites. The Ouai leave-in conditioner smells amazing and works great in my thick curly hair. The #bathandbodyworks hand soap in Whiskey and Coffee smells like the best-smelling book boyfriend. It's absolutely drool-worthy. The vanilla cone hand soap has waffle cone vibes. The dove peppermint bark beauty bar smells like chocolate and peppermint. Nothing smells like fall more than Bodycology's cozy fireside smore's scent. Neutrogena deep clean face wash provides that tingly clean feel and their hydro boost facial moisturizer is a must in the muggy summer. The mini Clinique Moisture Surge was a great facial moisturizer for travel. Also from Clinique, I received a sample of the new happy scent that smelled like cookies and kisses. Also two mascara empties, lash, and roll from ELF cosmetics and mega length from wet and wild. Both are great affordable drugstore buys.

 This Week I Am….

Looking forward to…   Cooking some salmon before work Friday.  I already meal-prepped some ravioli.  I work all weekend and with this heat, it should be wild.  

Listening to... One of my favorite podcasts on Patreon "Caught in my Web with Jodene Weber" She's a former FBI agent who covers true crime. If you're following the Idaho murders she is a must listen. 

Reading…  I'm just starting Dreamland by Nicholas Sparks. 

Watching…  Catching up on Law & Order SVU, 911 and impatiently waiting for the next episodes of "The Summer I turned pretty" on Amazon Prime and "The Lincoln Lawyer" on Netflix 

Wearing…  Will be trying out the new blush pallet from Wet and Wild I just bought and the liner 90's nude from Rimmel in an attempt to create the perfect nude lip. 

Ulta Haul: Too Faced Pop Tarts Pallet

 

When I saw the Too Faced Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts Pallet, I knew it was going in my cart.  

There isn't a bad shade in the bunch. Bite me and in my fillings have me excited. What beautiful shades. Dust the crust and get toasted looks like they can be fun on a night out. I haven't bought a Too Faced pallet that I haven't loved, and I have no doubt this won't disappoint me either. 

 

I also picked up two more crease brushes from wet and wild.  They are the best at blending and finishing off that great eye look.  And you can't beat the price.  Wet and wild brushes are a great buy and not to be slept on. They are great quality and have a brush for every need. 

 

Another product I love from wet and wild is their lipsticks. I have so many and have repurchased many shades including two I got this time.

 

Think Pink is about the most perfect shade of pink out there.  Absolutely love it. This is about the third tube I have bought, and I have no doubt there will be more.  

 

A new shade I got is Cinnamon Spice.  A nice red shade with some brown tones.  Will be perfect for some fall looks.

 

Another repurchase is Skinny Dipping.  Who doesn’t love a good nude shade with a little bit of brown and pink undertones.  I have no idea how many of these I have bought but I know I currently have three.  It might be an obsession. Do they have rehab for that? 

Brazil Nut Body Butter

 

Finally got my hands on the Brazil Nut Butter from Trader Joes it smells so good and the silky texture is heavenly. I also love that it’s not heavy or greasy.

Ulta Birthday Haul

In honor of my birthday my mom took me on a little shopping spree at Ulta.  Oh sweet heaven was I excited.  I thought i'd share with ya'll what I picked up.  

I knew I definitely wanted two specific things. The first was the Carli Bybel 14 Color Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette from BH Cosmetics.  What a beautiful palette; the packaging is so pretty.  I love all of the warm tones and can't wait to try out some new eye looks. I can't decide which one is my favorite.

 I'm new to highlighter and will soon be experimenting with these beautiful shades.  I'm in love with pink highlighter on the left.  All of these colors are going to look amazing this fall.

The second item on my list to pick up was the Miss Fabulous Eye Shadow Palette from Ulta Cosmetics. I'm a big fan of Jenn Fabulous aka Jenny Claire Fox.  Her nail tutorials on YouTube are incredible.  I only wish I could do nail art as well as she does.  Now Jenn has branched out into makeup with a great set of eye shadows.  One of the colors (top left) is called Virgo so being a Virgo I was all about that. Mitten (top second from right) is a very pretty color as well.

Of course I had to pick up my birthday gift from Ulta; a gorgeous eye shadow from Urban Decay called Midnight Cowboy .  It's described as a pink champagne shimmer with silver glitter. 

I also picked up a beautiful makeup bag by Tarten + Twine off the clearance shelf.  I think it was like $9.  It's huge and very soft.  I love that it has a liner in the middle to help keep things organized. Some other goodies I picked up were the Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumping Gloss in Nudestar by Soap & Glory, the Ulta brand eye shadow in Organza and eye liner in Black Plum, a sample of the Fig & Honey lotion by Ulta, the ELF Cosmetics HD Undereye Setting Powder, Great Lash Waterproof Mascara by Maybelline, Neutrogena's Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser, a travel size Hand Food in the scent sugar crush, a pack of Venus Embrace Disposable razors, OGX Biotin & Collagen Conditioner and a gift with purchase of Ulta cosmetics of a cute purple makeup bag, a couple of makeup brushes, a eye shadow palette, pencil sharpener, eye brow gel, plush drama mascara in black a double ended eyeliner, a double ended lip liner, mineral setting powder, a  matte lipstick in Mulberry, a lip gloss in sheer opal and a nail polish in Aubergine Queen .

Sephora Haul

Oh how dangerous Sephora can be.  All the beautiful makeup.  Had to get a few things when I went to pick up my birthday gift.

The bracelet is from Avon; I bought it years ago. The owl and the candle holder are from target I think. As you can see I love pink. I'm sure if I kept looking I'd find some more. One company that has really cute packaging; and yes some of them are pink; is Glossier. I can't wait to get my hand on some, especially the flavored balm dotcom and soothing face mist.
